Cultural note from the author:
During Josh’s visit to Japan, he mentioned three main places he had his unique cultural experiences: Shirakawago, Takayama and Shibu onsen in Nagano. Shirakawago is a UNESCO world heritage site since 1995, offering the historical village for many visitors to explore. Takayama is an old city with streets with old styled shops, making people feel as if they are visiting Japan 150 years ago. Lastly, viewing the wild monkey enjoying their share of the natural hot springs in snow is a fun way to explore a unique part of the nature.
